In June, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro signed a decree establishing a national plan for the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT strategy is the culmination of a multi-year public-private partnership led by the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) and the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications (MCTIC).
