Machine Learning and AI were hot in 2019, but what’s next for AI in 2020? The software side of working with AI improved a lot this year. But the hardware infrastructure side is still pretty complex, and for those who want to take advantage of GPU technology, that goes double. The truth is that AI hardware, both for fast training and effective inferencing, can be expensive, and its obsolescence cycles are quick. That’s a blocker.
