As 5G expands across the globe, bandwidth and processing speed will no longer limit edge devices. When 5G becomes more prevalent, we’ll experience faster networks, more endpoints, and an increased attack surface, which could attract an influx of DDoS attacks. Concurrently, as development teams race to build out AI tools, it is becoming common to train algorithms on edge devices.
